Hat off to You
As women we wear so many hats. We are mothers, wives, sisters, aunts, teachers, nurses, counselors, and the list can go on and on. We enjoy wearing these hats, sometimes. Other times all of these hats can weight heavy on our head. What do you do to get back to just being you? Even if it's for just a minute. We give so much to others, that we forget about ourselves. Are you someone who finds it difficult to say tell your loved ones no? Let's start there, saying NO. It is okay to say no sometimes, especially if you are already stressed, overwhelmed, or just don't want to whatever is being asked of you. Just say No, it is OK. You have to make sure you are physically and mental stable to take care of others, so you have to take care of yourself.
Her are just a few ways you can take care of yourself
Take time to yourself and meditate on the word of God This may require you to get up 15 minutes earlier, however, you will feel much better when you start your day with prayer and devotion,
Have quite time to think (or not), just to clear your mind; It is worth it.
Treat yourself every once and a while. YOU deserve it. You do so much for others, it is time to do for you.
Please don't apologize for pleasing yourself. You do for others all day, ice cream without the kids is okay sometimes. Enjoy you so you can enjoy your loved ones
